When Satan Comes To Call
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. - John 10:10.
Satan is alive and well and he is working every where today! He knows his days are numbered, and he's looking left and right, to and fro, waiting to pounce on an unexpected victim.
Last week, our extended neighborhood felt his blow! A lady was in very bad condition, and getting worse, from cancer. We do not know the circumstances or how it really came to be, but the husband shot the wife, and then turned the gun on himself. Satan has struck again! He caused two lives to be snuffed out, a tragedy that shouldn't have happened! But, he is cunning, and he will play with your mind and get your thoughts in such an uproar, that you'll be pleasing him, when you think that you are really doing what 'you' want to do. He plays tricks and he knows which trick to play on each person he is surveying! Sure, he is surveying us all, finding the perimeter of our being that isn't under subjection to God.
Where are you leaving the door open to satan today? Is he watching over your shoulder, waiting for you to make a mistake, or say the word that will cause him to attack you? Get in the Word!
Put on that whole armor of God [Ephesians 6:14-18] and be prepared when he comes to call at your door. Meet him with the WORD!
Prayer : "Our Loving Heavenly Father, sometimes our eyes are blinded to the wiles of the devil. He pounces on us because we aren't prepared to deal with him. Help us to get into the Word and know how to handle him, when he comes to call. We give you praise. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."
Have a Blessed Saturday and God Bless you.
