This deer couldn't get to shelter in the middle of a snow storm. It was trapped for hours and likely overnight on a frozen pond in Buffalo, New York. More than 50 first responders including firefighters and an underwater recovery team braved the ice about 3 to 4 inches thick to rescue the poor thing whose legs were frozen from the cold. They used a rope for safety and pulled the deer ashore.
