There are certain myths that have plagued the minds of many for years such as coffee will stunt your growth or gum never digests properly if you swallow it. Those myths have been debunked. Dr. Roshini Raj told Inside Edition: "People used to think that coffee or caffeine may affect your risk of osteoporosis or decrease your bone growth, but that's just not true. Coffee should not affect your growth in anyway." There was the myth that if you swallow gum, it could linger in your digestive track.
